- Where do the predicted questions come from?
- Each question is tied to a verbatim phrase from the job description you paste. The generator is constrained to pick the noun phrase or responsibility clause it’s grounding in — if it can’t find one, the question doesn’t appear in the deck.
- How is grounding on STAR drafts enforced?
- Every STAR draft must quote a verbatim slice of the resume you supplied. The validator rejects any draft whose claimed resume_bullet_source doesn’t appear verbatim in your text. If the model invents experience you don’t have, the deck regenerates; if it fails three times the order is auto-refunded.
- What does the free preview include?
- 3 likely questions, 1 fully-drafted STAR answer pulled from one of your resume bullets, and 1 question to ask the interviewer. The preview is meant to be useful enough to decide whether the full deck is worth $19.
- What do I get after paying?
- A printable 1-page PDF plus a mobile-readable hosted page at interviewdeck.forage.bot/decks/{deckId}with: 15 likely questions, 4 STAR drafts, a company-context briefing assembled from the company’s own homepage and careers page, 5 questions to ask the interviewer, and up to 3 honest-gap framings for places where the JD asks for something the resume doesn’t cover.
- Why $19?
- It’s priced for a single interview you actually have lined up. Cheaper than an interview coach, more focused than a $20/mo career platform you cancel after one purchase. One transaction, one deck.
- Will the deck handle unusual job descriptions?
- The grounding rules apply whatever the JD shape. If the JD is sparse or generic, the deck will have fewer JD-anchored questions; if the JD is unusually specific, the questions get more pointed. If the deck fails our quality gate (fewer than 12 questions, fewer than 3 STAR drafts, or missing company context), it triggers an automatic refund.
- What’s the 24h reminder?
- Optional. If you enter your interview date and tick the box, we email the print link 24 hours before. Cancel-link in every email; the reminder cron checks the pause state before sending. No reminder fires unless you opt in.
- Do you store my resume?
- The free preview record does not keep the full raw resume or JD text. If you buy, raw inputs are kept only long enough to generate the deck, then cleared from the active order record after assembly.
- How long does delivery take?
- Usually under 90 seconds after checkout completes. The deck page polls automatically while the artifact is being assembled.
- What’s your refund policy?
- Two automatic paths from your deck page: if our pipeline flagged your deck as failed (the generator errored, grounding rejected the output, or the deck missed our quality gate after retries), you can refund within 90 days; and if our logs show you never opened the deck after delivery, you can refund within 30 days. Both run through Stripe from the deck page — no email required. Outside those paths, email interviewdeck@forage.bot and we’ll work it out case-by-case.
