Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Contact information you provide, typically your email address.
• Payment and order metadata such as purchase time, price, refund status, and Stripe identifiers.
• The job description, resume text, and optional concern note you submit so we can generate the preview or full deck.
• Optional interview date/time and reminder opt-in preference, used only to schedule the 24h-before reminder email if you enabled it.
• Generated output such as the predicted questions, STAR drafts, company-context briefing, questions to ask, honest-gap framing, the rendered PDF, and related order-status records.
• Feedback and support messages you send through the site or by email.
• Basic technical logs such as IP address, user agent, request path, timestamps, and diagnostic metadata generated when the site is used.

2. How we use information

• To generate the free preview and the paid interview deck.
• To process payments, refunds, and delivery emails.
• To send the optional 24h-before reminder email when you opt in.
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
• To answer support requests and review product feedback.
• To maintain accounting, tax, and legal records.

We do not sell personal information or use third-party ad trackers on the site.

3. Providers we use

• Stripe for payment processing and refunds.
• Vercel for hosting, server functions, blob storage, and privacy-focused site analytics.
• Resend for transactional delivery and reminder emails.
• OpenRouter and one or more upstream model providers to generate previews and full decks from the text you submit.
• GitHub for internal issue tracking tied to feedback and support workflows.

4. Retention

The free preview record does not keep the full raw resume text or full raw job-description text. If you purchase a deck, the raw inputs are stored only long enough to assemble and deliver the PDF.

After the deck is assembled, the active order record clears the raw job-description, resume, and concern-note fields. Generated output, order metadata, refund records, and the rendered PDF may remain longer for re-prints, support, accounting, security, or legal reasons. Inputs are purged within 30 days of delivery in any case.

5. Your choices

Do not submit sensitive personal information that is not needed for the service. If you want us to remove an existing order or delivery artifact, contact interviewdeck@forage.bot. We will review the request subject to legal, accounting, fraud, and operational retention needs.

If you opted in to the 24h reminder, every reminder email includes a one-click cancel link that halts the next scheduled send and a pause link that halts all future scheduled sends for that deck.
